Susan Babcock Elected New President of Franklin Corporation
PARSIPPANY, N.J. (June 9, 2020) — The Franklin Corporation board of directors today elected Susan Babcock as the next company president. Babcock will replace retiring president Marvin Sharpe and will assume her new position immediately.
Babcock brings significant experience and knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry to her new role, where she will work to keep Franklin Corporation focused on marketing, innovation, and global growth.
“Franklin Corporation is widely recognized as a leader in the pharmaceutical industry, and I’m thrilled to be joining the exceptional team here,” Babcock said. “I’m looking forward to finding new ways for Franklin Corporation to innovate and grow as we work to serve our customers.”
Before becoming president of Franklin, Babcock served as the chief financial officer for Star Medical Supply Company from 2015-2020 and as the executive vice president of Pharmatech from 2010-2014. She has also held various managerial positions with Walters Corporation.
Babcock graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Kennesaw State University and an MBA from Harvard University. A leader in the pharmaceutical industry, Babcock is a board member of the National Pharmaceutical Society and the chairwoman of the Women in Business Roundtable.
Babcock currently lives in Kennesaw, Georgia with her husband, John, and their family.
